Music & Worship
Our Sunday morning worship gatherings include a variety of musical and non-musical expressions, both familiar and new, as we pursue excellence in praising God. This is our principal choral ensemble which leads worship each Sunday and at seasonal worship concerts. The choir’s music reflects various time periods and genres and is anchored in Biblical passages and Christian themes. Members must possess basic music literacy skills in order to be comfortable with the various levels of difficulty of music that is rehearsed and performed.
(Additional rehearsals are required for our annual Christmas at Christ concert in December)
This is our primary instrumental ensemble. It is comprised of youth and adults, amateurs and professionals. Like the Worship Choir, the orchestra serves weekly through providing worship music in addition to congregational and choral accompaniments. Members must be proficient on his/her instrument(s) to be comfortable with the various levels of difficulty of music that is rehearsed and performed.
Adoration Student Choir
Comprised of students in grades 7-12, this ensemble rehearses weekly during the school year, periodically leading Sunday worship and participating in worship concerts. They also travel locally and regionally to share their music and collaborate with other students and churches. View our full brochure.
Holy Notes Children's Choir
Open to children in grades 1-6, this choir rehearses weekly during the school year to prepare music, both instrumental and choral, for various worship services while providing tools for teaching and training children in the worship arts.
Cherub Choir is designed for children ages 3-5 years old. The primary goal of this non-performing group is to foster a love for music and to help children understand that music is a gift from God to be used for His glory. Musical crafts and games are used as teaching components for this group. This choir meets weekly during the school year.
