This opportunity is still tentative, and final scheduling has not been completed. During a term break, coaches and mentors will engage community children and youth in Sports Camp in partnership with our local representatives. Camp volunteers will be older students and adults who are comfortable in an urban environment and active in sports.
Working with experienced leadership that coordinates and advises sports camps in UK and Europe, the team will serve to assist in daily sports training and game play. The sports camps take place in urban international communities and use municipal and private facilities. Team members will have opportunities to build relationships with children and students during their school break. As relationships are built, opportunities for spiritual conversations and sharing the gospel happen. These contacts built by volunteers can be developed into relationships with the sponsoring organization. Our local representatives provide: Museum trips, children’s art and music activities, sports, and outdoor recreation.
