All women are uniquely created by God to serve and further His kingdom. No matter your age, background, or life stage, you are welcome in the CBC Women's Ministry. We want to connect with you right where you are to encourage, support, pray and equip you in your relationship and service to God.

As we worship and serve the Lord together, we want every woman to feel loved and accepted for who she is in Christ so that we can be transformed to RADIATE Christ's love with each other and the watching world, ultimately bringing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Radiate with Encouragement


This team encourages staff and volunteers. These special women have a wonderful way of making those who serve at CBC feel so loved and appreciated.

Radiate with Missional Sisterhood

This team serves to meet sisters in Christ's needs showing love and compassion, sharing His word, prayer and encouragement thorough visitation, transportation, providing meals, new mom classes, etc. God calls all women to serve each other in exciting times and in times of need. If you are good at cooking meals, love to visit, or can offer transportation to an appointment you are much needed on this team!

Radiate with Hospitality

Radiate with Hospitality

This team cooks, serves, and decorates for our two big women's events and several other events throughout the year including CBC's:

  • Women's Annual Spring Tea in March/April
  • Women's Christmas Brunch in December
  • Churchwide Thanksgiving Feast in November
  • Churchwide Vacation Bible School in the Summer

Radiate with Care and Compassion (Martha's Heart)


What a blessing this team is to our church families. When we have a funeral at the church this team will coordinate the lunch for the family by preparing, serving, and loving on these families during this difficult time.  If you have any questions, please contact Linda Waldron at lwaldron@nc.rr.com.

Radiate with New Members


Once a quarter, this team will plan and serve a luncheon for the new members by setting up, serving, welcoming, and encouraging those who have just joined CBC!  If you have any questions, please contact Sandra Faucette at Kfaucette1@nc.rr.com.

Radiate with Décor


This team makes the church look so beautiful all year long. Their biggest task is around November/December when they decorate for the Christmas Season. Over the course of a couple days, they, along with the help of many others, transform the church just in time to celebrate the Christmas.

Radiate with Saltshakers


This is an annual women’s bible study that meets each Tuesday at CBC. Sarah Knott leads this study, and all are welcome to attend. The topic changes each year and goes from September to April.  If you have any questions, please contact Karen Jennette at kwjennette@yahoo.com.
