CBC Student Ministry

The CBC Student Ministry partners with parents in grades 6-12 to help students love God, others and make disciples. We love to provide an atmosphere where students can connect with God through worship and teaching as well as developing lasting, close relationships with other teenagers. Our desire is for students to be known by the loving, growing, and sending overall mission of CBC.

Loving God

  • Understanding who he is by studying His word
  • Applying the truths found in His word to everyday life
  • Worshiping and serving Him only
  • Desiring a closer walk with Him
  • Obeying His commands

Loving Others

  • Living out Jesus' character with all people
  • Caring for others in your everyday life
  • Forgiving your enemies

Making Disciples

  • Teaching students how to shine as light in a dark world
  • Holding students accountable to His word
  • Modeling obedience to Christ
  • Equipping them to spread the gospel

9:00 - 10:00 am

  • Middle School Life Groups
  • High School Life Groups

Permission Form

Permission forms are required for all students attending CBC student activities including, but not limited to: cookouts, boating, water skiing, horseback riding, swimming, basketball, games in the park, soccer, ice skating, volleyball, softball, baseball, camping, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, concerts, Bible studies, miniature golf, hayrides, student conferences, rock climbing, lock-ins, mission trips, service projects, small group trips, sleep-overs, and more. Note: If you desire to limit your child’s participation in any event, please submit your wishes in writing to Jeff Baxley (youth minister) prior to that event.
